Job Scope: Performs all field service activities relative to press inspection, repair work, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair training.
Specific Duties:
• Performs mechanical troubleshooting and repair on stamping and manufacturing presses
• Reviews customer technical concerns to assist in determination of product changes/ mods
• Performs press inspections on a variety of presses
Critical Job Skills:
• Continuing education in skilled trades or equivalent preferred, but not required
• Press maintenance experience desired/ must be mechanically inclined
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a manufacturing or machining environment
• Ability to read, understand, and interpret blueprints
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills required
- Once trained, this position requires extensive travel within the United States. While training in the shop, hours will be 6am-2:30pm in our Hastings facility.
Hours/ Compensation:
This position is a full-time hourly position that does include weekend work on a regular basis while traveling. While traveling, there is $5/ hour incentive for hours worked while traveling.
Compensation is negotiable based on skillset and experience.
